Online jail records show Lewis, 19, was booked at the department’s 77th Street Division station Monday evening on a class F felony count and held on $50,000 bail.
Officers first arrested Lewis at 2 p.m. Monday.
Lopez declined to provide details about the incident or information about the accuser.
LAPD said earlier Monday that it had opened an investigation into an alleged incident of domestic violence involving an unnamed USC student-athlete that occurred early Sunday morning.
