A policeman who bombarded female victims of crime with hundreds of explicit text messages has been found guilty of gross misconduct.
PC Lance Montgomery, who worked for Kent Police in Medway, used social media to carry out searches on his victims.
He sent four women hundreds of sexually explicit messages and images between June and August last year, a panel at a misconduct hearting at Kent Police headquarters in Maidstone heard on Wednesday.
Over the next ten days, Montgomery flooded her with 500 text messages.
The woman described the texts as ‘disgusting’ and said they made her feel uncomfortable.
