FAIRMONT — The man whose residence on Timothy Lane was robbed during a July 28 home invasion has now been charged himself.
Police found Ilan Robert Rice, 19, of 1 Timothy Lane, Apt. B2, Fairmont, was possession of a large amount of THC oil and fired shots from an AK-47 that struck one of the intruders.
Rice faces four counts of wanton endangerment involving a firearm, assault during the commission of a felony and manufacture, delivery, possession with intent to manufacture and deliver, the criminal complaints state.
Previously, authorities said that four people entered Rice’s apartment with the intent of robbing him, having met beforehand to discuss the robbery.
Criminal complaints stated that they believed Rice had collectibles, firearms and other items of value. They entered his residence, went upstairs and assaulted Rice before taking several firearms and fleeing.
