Attorney For Fotis Dulos Asks For Gag Order Removal

Fotis Dulos stands during a hearing at Stamford Superior Court in June. Attorney Norm Pattis has asked Connecticut’s highest court to revoke a gag order on his client, Fotis Dulos.

He is the estranged husband of Jennifer Dulos, a mother of five who has been missing since May.

Pattis says the order infringes on his client’s right to defend himself against speculations.

“Mr. Dulos is not guilty of the crime of murder, and we are anxious to assert his innocence against any allegation. Those allegations have been raised publicly. And to expect us to be silenced in the face of life-destroying allegations is to expect more than we think the law permits.”

Dulos is charged with hindering prosecution and evidence tampering in connection with the disappearance of his wife.

Police have said they do not believe she is alive.
