FARMINGTON — A day after an apparent suicide attempt by Fotis Dulos, police were at his house Wednesday for a second day.

Dulos, 52, accused of killing his estranged wife, Jennifer Dulos, remains in critical condition and on life support at Jacobi Medical Center in Bronx, N.Y.

State and Farmington police remain at his Farmington home where they are “holding the scene, pending the outcome,” according to Brian Foley, executive aide to James Rovella, the Commissioner of the state Department of Emergency Services and Public Protection which includes the state police. Foley declined to elaborate further.

Questions now remain on what is going to unfold at the bond hearing that is scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday.

Sources say a judge could revoke the bond and place Fotis Dulos in the custody of the state Department of Correction while he remains hospitalized in New York.

His attorneys are concerned that he has little chance of recovery since police and paramedics performed CPR for about 30 minutes before a pulse was detected.“He is in critical condition,” said Attorney Norm Pattis who represents Fotis Dulos in the criminal charges. “Our thoughts and prayers are with him and his family.”New York high-profile bondsman Ira Judelson will take over the bond.Judelson said he was originally contacted earlier this month, before it was decided that Palmetto would handle the bond.“I stood down,” Judelson said. “Until I got the phone call from Norm (Tuesday) morning that he believed the bond was going to be revoked for some technicalities.”Farmington Police […]
