DUDLEY – A Sturbridge man is facing a rape charge after he allegedly sexually assaulted a woman in Charlton in February.
Jesse James Chaisson, 39, of 2 Jedeon Rd., Sturbridge, allegedly took the woman to a garage at The Clam Box on Dresser Hill on Feb. 26 and forced her to touch him, touched her, bit her breasts and digitally penetrated her, Charlton police wrote in their report.
The woman allegedly told Chaisson several times that she did not consent, police said.
Chaisson was arraigned Monday in Dudley District Court on one count of rape and two counts of indecent assault and battery on a person over 14. He was released on $1,000 bail and ordered to stay away from and have no contact with the woman.
He is due back in court April 21 for a pretrial hearing.
