A 60-year-old man died after being shot in West Baltimore Friday morning, according to Baltimore police.

Around 10:33 a.m., officers responded to reports of a shooting in the 4200 block of Norfolk Avenue and found the man suffering from gunshot wounds to his upper body. He was taken to Sinai Hospital and pronounced dead moments later, according to police.

So far this year there have been a total of 110 killings compared to 115 killings at this time last year, according to Baltimore police homicide data.
