UPDATE: The Director of Communications for the Archdiocese of New Orleans, Sarah McDonald, tells WGNO News that the altar, on which the alleged sex acts took place, has been burned by the Archdiocese and will be replaced.
PEARL RIVER, LA — A former priest at a North Shore church faces an obscenity charge along with two women for alleged activities at the church.
According to court records, Rev. Travis Clark and two women, Mindy Dixon and Melissa Cheng, each face an obscenity charge.
The Archdiocese of New Orleans says Clark was removed from active ministry on the day of the arrests, Oct. 1.
Clark served at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Pearl River. He and the women were arrested at the church where they were accused of the obscene activity.
After Clark’s arrest, Archbishop Gregory Aymond announced that he would preside over Vigil Mass at the church on October 3.
Pearl River Alderman Kathryn Walsh told WGNO News by email that the allegations are “very disturbing for all of us.”
“When a person you highly respect and tend to look at as a friend does something like this,” said Walsh, “it hurts deep down.”
Alderman Angel Galloway told WGNO News by email that the church members are “some of the finest citizens in Peral River.”
“I pray the peace of God that passes all understanding will fill their hearts and carry them,” says Galloway. “I also pray for the three people involved in this,” she says.
“I have faith that any darkness will be refilled with light.”
Inside kinky lives of corset-clad dominatrices, 41 and 23, arrested after ‘filming S&M porn with priest on church altar’
THE kinky escapades of two professional dominatrices arrested after allegedly being caught filming an S&M porn video on a church altar with a Catholic priest have been revealed – as they blamed the “peeping tom” who saw them.
The incident took place last week in the Saints Peter and Paul Roman Catholic Church in Pearl River, Louisiana.
An unidentified witness reportedly saw the two corset-wearing dominatrices allegedly having sex with Clark – who was half naked – on September 30.
All three have been arrested and booked with obscenity – and each one could face up to three years in prison if convicted.
The priest’s sick actions prompted The Archdiocese of New Orleans to move and burn the church’s altar.
Archbishop Gregory Aymond denounced Clark’s actions as “demonic” in a Friday statement, 4WWL reported.
Aymond said: “His obscene behavior was deplorable. His desecration of the altar in Church was demonic. I am infuriated by his actions.
“When the details became clear, we had the altar removed and burned. I will consecrate a new altar tomorrow (October 10).”
Dixon – one of the women who took park in the alleged sex act – is a Seattle-based activist for sex workers who calls herself Lady Vi on social media.
The wife and dog-mom uses her website to advertise her dungeon and S&M catalogue.
Her website reads: “Lady Vi is an internationally recognized, established lifestyle/professional Dominatrix with 9+ years experience based in the Seattle metropolitan area.
“She is the Satanatrix and Proprietress of the Church of Satanatrix™. Lady Vi is a fetish content creator, model, and producer.
“Beautiful, brazen and delightfully wicked. Lady Vi exudes a unique brand of sinister sexuality, instinctual sadism, and natural born female dominance.”
The story from The Sun continues
According to the page, Dixon – “a sadistic, sin-seeking, and corruption Domme” – does not have sex with her clients or allow them to touch her.
In response to the news regarding her arrest, she tweeted: “This is my official f ***ing statement” – alongside a GIF of a red devil dancing in a sexually suggestive way.
A dominatrix site for Cheng reveals she has “studied the art of Domination for years and it’s her “greatest passion..”
It appears she goes by the name of Empress Ming.
She describes herself as “artistic, intelligent, creative, outspoken, well read, well traveled, articulate, funny, and friendly.”
“I love being able to break a person down, take them apart, then put them back together… My way,” she is quoted saying.
“Being able to bend men to My will and bring the powerful to their knees is a talent that comes naturally for Me.”
Cheng’s rates are $350 for one hour, $700 for two hours, and $1,050 for three hours.
Bradley Phillips, the lawyer representing all three arrestees, told DailyMail.com that they were not at fault.
He told the news outlet: “All parties involved were consenting adults.
“Everything that occurred took place behind closed doors, on private property, and none of the conduct alleged was criminal in nature.
“The fact that this involved a priest or took place in a church is completely irrelevant. The only pertinent question is if it took place in view of the public. Clearly that is not the case.”
According to Phillips: “The evidence will show that an individual had to enter the church’s private property and look through a window to see what was taking place. By definition, then, it was not in public view.”
Court documents – filed by Pearl River Police and obtained by Nola.com – state that the church incident took place at around 11pm on September 30.
Dixon, an adult film actor, and Cheng were allegedly wearing high heels and corsets as Clark handled sex toys.
The witness – who walked towards the church out of curiosity as the inside lights were on at an unusual time – used a cell phone to record the unexpected sight before contacting the Pearl River police.
It was possible for the onlooker to peek inside the church through the windows and glass doors.
Dixon, Cheng, and Clark were allegedly having in intercourse with each other as a camera and cellphone appeared to be recording from a tripod on the altar, WWLTV reported.
When police responded to the scene, they looked at the footage and arrested the trio.
“Obscene acts occurred on the altar, which is clearly visible from the street,” police said.
According to Nola.com, Dixon had posted to social media the day before the church incident.
Dixon wrote in a post that she was heading to meet another dominatrix to “defile a house of God.”
Clark was suspended from the ministry just one day after this arrest.
Police records show that Clark has since been released on a $25,000 bond.
Cheng and Dixon reportedly posted bonds of $7,500.
Town Council member Kat Walsh later revealed her displeasure with Clark’s decision to meet with the two women in the holy place.
She explained: “I’m upset for all of us, the parishioners of the church. Why there?”
