Fort Wayne police are looking for a 23-year-old man they say is a person of interest in the suspicious death of a toddler.
Police said they are looking for Trevon Bishop, described as Black, 5-foot-6-inches tall and weighing 161 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.
The toddler, a boy, was discovered Thursday in the 4300 block of Joshua Lane, near McKinnie Avenue and South Anthony Boulevard, according to Tim Hughes, head of the Fort Wayne Police Department’s homicide division.
Police had no other details about the boy’s identity or death. The Allen County coroner has not issued a ruling on the cause or manner of the boy’s death.
Anyone with information on Bishop’s whereabouts is asked to call 911 immediately, police said. Bishop was charged May 28 with carrying a handgun while having a prior felony conviction.
