Veta Belford was reported missing on October 18 after she vanished from the Home Depot parking lot where she worked. The 19-year-old college student was dropped off by her parents at 2 pm. When they came to pick her up at 11:30 pm, Home Depot staff said they hadn’t seen her since she was laid off that very day.
Belford was last seen walking towards the Applebees and AT&T store in the Home Depot parking lot at 3:45 pm in Sacramento. Belford is 5’4” tall, 215 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. When she was last seen, she was wearing a brownish and orange striped flannel shirt, denim pants, a small crossbody bag, and a rainbow ring.
